Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Schoolhouse Pediatrics looks forward to providing care and support to you and your family. After your baby’s delivery, inform your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen Schoolhouse Pediatrics for your child’s pediatric services.
If you are delivering at Albany Medical Center or St. Peter’s Hospital, one of our pediatricians will visit your baby and talk with you in the hospital. If you are delivering at another area hospital your child will be seen by one of their staff pediatricians while you are in the hospital.
Regardless of where your child is delivered you will need to call our office (518-456-1211, Option 2) to register your baby with Schoolhouse Pediatrics and to schedule a newborn well visit which should take place within 48 hours of being discharged.
To get a head start on the paperwork that will be required, please download and fill out as much of our New Patient Packet as you can, and bring the form to your baby’s Newborn Visit.
