Schoolhouse Road Pediatrics was founded in 1966 on Western Avenue in the town of Guilderland, New York, when Dr. Anthony Mastrianni partnered with Dr. John Abbuhl and James Murphy. Dr. Mastrianni, who had interned at Albany Medical Center in 1954, began his career in Altamont, New York, before serving as a physician and radiologist in the United States Air Force. He later returned to Albany Medical Center from 1958 to 1960, ultimately deciding to shift his focus to pediatric care.
Today, Schoolhouse Pediatrics operates offices in Albany, Coxsackie, and Clifton Park, New York, and provides care to more than 14,000 patients. In addition to general pediatric services, we now offer Behavioral Health as an integral part of our care.
