Dr. Benison attended Binghamton University, followed by the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He then completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center before joining the Schoolhouse Pediatrics family in 2020.
A board-certified pediatrician and Eagle Scout, Dr. Benison is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to a full-time pediatrician with Schoolhouse Pediatrics, he is also an attending physician at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Hospital.
Dr. Benison now resides in Guilderland, NY with his fiancé and enjoys cooking, world travel, watching movies (his favorites include Star Wars and MCU – “Marvel Cinematic Universe”), outer space, board and video games (in moderation of course!).
